New Maintenance Pricing Effective January 1, 2006

Effective January 1, 2006, Abby Rating Systems is converting to maintenance-based pricing for our Assigned Risk Plan rating programs for the states of NY, NJ, PA & CT*.

For just $15 monthly** (payable quarterly, in advance), you will receive all rate revisions and Vehicle Symbol revisions^ automatically!

Why is Abby switching to maintenance-based pricing? In the past years, rating changes have become very unpredictable, and symbol updates have become more and more frequent. Last year alone, there were 14 separate updates to the symbols, in addition to rate revisions in each state we service. In addition, sometimes there are rule changes that ultimately have an effect on rates. By utilizing maintenance-based pricing, you will receive every change to rates automatically, and have unlimited access to updated Symbols^.

You will receive your first quarterly invoice, for the months of January, February and March 2006, within the next few weeks. Upon payment, all changes in rates and symbols^ will be provided to you automatically for the first quarter of 2006. In March, 2006 you will receive an invoice for the second quarter. You will also have the option of paying your maintenance fees on-line.

SPECIAL EXTENDED OFFER: WE WILL BEGIN YOUR MAINTENANCE SUBSCRIPTION UPON RECEIPT OF YOUR QUARTERLY PAYMENT. SEND PAYMENT AS SOON AS YOU RECEIVE YOUR INVOICE AND WE WILL PROVIDE ANY CHANGES THAT OCCUR DURING DECEMBER 2005 AS PART OF YOUR SUBSCRIPTION AT NO ADDITIONAL CHARGE!

*Only Assigned Risk rating products are subject to maintenance-based pricing. Other Abby rating products are not being converted to maintenance-based pricing at this time.

** Monthly rate per product. NY Assigned Risk with supplemental Motorcycle rating is $17 monthly. Rate updates are provide for changes with a New Business effective date up to and including the last date of the calendar quarter for which the maintenance fee has been paid. All prices are subject to 3% Information Provider royalty fee and and applicable sales taxes.

^For DOS rating programs (CT, PA) Vehicle symbols are included if a valid e-mail address is supplied. Vehicle symbols will be provided via download as many times as needed during the year. Rate changes will continue to be provided by mail on CD. For Windows rating programs (NJ, NY) all updates to symbols and rates are automatic in the software, as well as downloadable from our website.

QUESTIONS & ANSWERS:

Q. What happens if I don’t pay the quarterly fee when due?

A. If the quarterly maintenance fee is not paid, you will not receive any further software revisions for rates or symbols. The software will only work as long as you have a valid subscription.

Q. Are any discounts offered?

A. Discounts are offered for 6 months ($10 off) and 1 year ($25 off) renewal periods.

Q. If I do not pay the Maintenance Fee, and wish to renewal later on (lapse in service), what are my options?

A. If you do not pay the Maintenance Fee, and wish to reactivate your account at a later date, you will only be able to do so by paying past-due maintenance fees, plus a $15 reinstatement fee. If more than 4 consecutive quarters (1 year) have elapsed, a re-purchase of the software at the then-applicable new account price will apply. Maintenance pricing is retroactive from the date your serivice with us expired, because all missed rate revisions will be provided once you have renewed your service.

Q. I currently receive other products from Abby, in addition to Assigned Risk rates. Are updates to these products included?

A. No...and Yes! At this time, maintenance pricing is only being utilized for our Assigned Risk rating programs. Rate updates to other Abby products will continue to be provided on a “per-update” basis when required. HOWEVER…Symbols which are included on an unlimited basis with your maintenance-based pricing will also update ALL other Abby products you may have installed, so symbols will always be current for all of your Abby software.
